Kunsthaus Graz – exceptional design

It was only possible to find an especially economic solution with a modern and specially adapted thermoplastic. Although about 1,300 sheets and 1,300 various forms were produced, due to fully integrated CAD-CAM production methods and milling robots the project could be kept within a financially appropriate margin.

Mozart Square in Vienna – vital minimalism

It remains a dream to build self-supporting transparent bowls without a substructure, which is not (fully) realisable – other than by computer animation.
The roofing of Mozart Square, with an area of 16 x 12m and an almost homogenous, transparent, self-supporting roof bowl is a good example for the interaction of a minimalist substructure, richly imaginative plastic processing and know-how combined with skilled craftsmanship.
